Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation’s Second Annual Giving Bowl to Benefit Tampa Bay Charities Launches Tomorrow

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife, Emily Mayfield, through the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation, announced today their second annual Giving Bowl, a bracket-style fundraising competition bringing together Tampa Bay athletes to support local nonprofit organizations, begins tomorrow, March 16.

Now entering its second year, the Giving Bowl will run through April 3. It will feature Tampa Bay-area athletes representing teams the Buccaneers, Lightning, Rays and Rowdies, each competing to raise funds and awareness for charities making an impact across the Tampa Bay community.

The three-round event will feature athletes going head-to-head in a bracket-style social media fundraising challenge. Each week, the athletes who raise the most money will advance. The winning athlete will bring their charity the title of 2026 Giving Bowl Champion and secure $50,000 from the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation.

Each participating charity will receive a minimum of $2,500 from the foundation, as well as all funds donated directly to their campaign. Advancing to the second round earns each charity an additional $7,500 ($10,000 total). Finalists receive an additional $10,000.

The charity crowned the 2026 Giving Bowl Champion will receive an additional $30,000, bringing their total to $50,000 from the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation, along with all the funds they raised throughout the three-week event.

The inaugural Giving Bowl crowned Brandon Lowe, formerly of the Tampa Bay Rays, and the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay as champions and recipients of the $50,000 from the foundation.
